Views don't load when opening an .fbx file, but load when importing it

While going through the lost views when exporting from sketchup I’ve noticed that opening .fbx files doesn’t load the named views, but loads them when importing .fbx files.

Steps:
open fbx file below
see - no named views
import the same fbx file
named views appear

I use Rhino 8 WIP (8.0.23039.8305, 2023-02-08) btw
