In Rhino 8 SR1 the Named Views panel opens with the message “No named views have been saved” even though named views exist in my document.
In order to see the named views I have to right-click the view mode to Thumbnails then back to List.

Hi Leo - this seems to work correctly here in our latest - is this true with any file that has named views? Does it matter if the file is the only one opened in the session?

Upon further testing with several files it seems limited to cases where I open Rhino8 and click on a Recent file from the file icons displayed in the Startup/About window as Rhino8 is booting.
Choosing the same files from the list of recent files at the bottom of the File menu works correctly. Opening the same files directly from Windows Explorer works correctly regardless of whether Rhino is already running or not.
So it seems that only recent files chosen from the Rhino8 Startup window do not refresh the Named Views panel, even though the views exist.
Named Views Test 3.3dm (43.6 KB)
To test you will have to open the file once, which will work correctly, then close Rhino, then start Rhino and choose the file from the recent files icons during startup.
