Hi, did anyone manage to import camera from FBX file? It seems Rhino is not able to read camera information from FBX.
Sorry, I’m Rhino has Import/Export support for Motionbuilder FBX files, but I think it’s only the geometry in those files, nothing else.
Hello!
Just came across this problem, too.
Obviously the import dialog offers camera import (to named views):
But it ain’t working, which forced me to a nasty workaround on how to get those cameras (using 3ds max, where I put a mesh at the cam’s location).
Fix this maybe?
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I’m working on something that requires Google Earth Studio Camera Data to get imported in to Rhino Enscape. I’ve managed to pull the info in to After Effects and then in to Blender, and I was hoping to be able to import the camera path from Blender to Rhino using FBX, but I can only import 1 key frame from the FBX.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how to get the camera path from Google Earth Studio. I can use jswan in grasshopper to get the positions and the rotations, but no matter how I compose the rotations, the orientation of the camera does not look right.
