Viewports with Raster not printing

Trying to print to PDF. I have viewports that are either raster or vector on the same layout.
The raster viewports show nothing when I select output as vector. When I select output as raster nothing at all shows. Please see screenshot for the results of the vector output.
I have been on this problem for several hours now and the solution is evading me completely.

I am getting a bit desperate now as I am struggling to get working drawings onto the shop floor so hoping someone here can help isolate the issue.

Thanks

Please post an example file and any details needed to reproduce the problem.
We can’t fix it if we can’t reproduce it.

Hi John
Its been a while. I have been involved on other projects.
Unfortunately this has reared its head again.
Please find attached.
Head to “print” on Layout “A1 Landscape” and use the Rhino to PDF driver.
The print preview excludes all the elements from within the viewport windows as does the PDF that has been generated.
I have had as good a look around as I can. Hoping its just one of those settings I have overlooked…
Many thanks.
Justin

Its a Surface Pro 5 and has the latest Microsoft Intel drivers for this chipset.
I have the same problem on the machine at work though.

Do the layouts use render settings? I noticed curves that I had created on the layout were not showing. Had a brainwave, went into the render view settings and clicked “show curves” back on. They show up. How do i change a layout (not a view within it, but the actual layout itself) to use wireframe settings instead?

Hello - the layout should never be in other than Wireframe. With the layout active, use
SetDisplayMode (or use the Display panel)
to set the mode to wireframe.
