Viewport Ray tracing and named views bug

Seems to be a bug when switching between named views while in viewport Ray tracing mode. The screen changes to the selected named view for a moment then goes back to the previous view.

Hi Scott,
We’ll try and replicate. Can you type SystemInfo into the command line and provide the results? Thanks.

You bet! Here you go.

I wasn’t able to replicate on either platform.

Can you try this on a new file?
Place a box. Save named view, rotate save a new named view. Then put into Raytraced and switch.

Ok Ill try that. I do have some meshes that are blocks . Let me try with those turned off as well.

Ok I tried your test, worked as it should.
I tried copying and pasting specific geo from my original file to the test file and tried it. Worked as it should.

I went back to my original file and deleted all layers except the ones with my model. Now it works as expected. So something in the file was causing it to always snap back to the first view . As to what , Im not sure.

Ill keep playing with it. It must be some element from another file from another designer thats causing the glitch.

Thanks for your help
