Named view not able to make

Hello,

I can see my named views and use them, but I am not able to make new views. Can someone help me fix this problem?
Thank you!

Hoi -
Is this specific to a specific file or does it happen in a new file from a factory-default template? Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.
-wim

Hi Wim,

It happens in every file.

Hi -
Can you describe the steps that you take when you try to make new named views? Or perhaps a screen recording?
-wim

  • command: named view
  • i press the save button
  • rhino doesnt do anything
  • rhino only continues when i press esc

Hi -
Does this behavior change when you open the Named View panel and change the “View Mode” to “List” instead of “Thumbnails”?
-wim

Hi Wim,

I just tried it, but it doesnt change.

Hi Wim,
Is there something else I can try?
Thanks

@dankersdevelopment did you in the meantime solve this issue? Can you make a short screen recording of the steps you are taking and the things you are seeing? Pressing the save button should give you a popup that says “Save Viewport As Named View” Is that what you are seeing?

FWIW I can’t spot anything off in your SystemInfo that is suspicious for this behavior.

Hi Gijs,
Yes the problem is solved.
When using my second screen the popup was not visible.
If I place Rhino on my first screen the problem is solved. The developers of Rhino are gonna check why this happens when using two screens.

@dankersdevelopment thanks for reporting back, for now I marked that as a solution for this thread.
