The issues listed below have been reported in Rhino 6 and 7.
I tried running Rhino 8wip, but it hasn’t been resolved yet. Will it be resolved when version 8 is officially released? It’s really fatal that vertical polylines and flat surfaces are not visible when viewed from the side at 90˚.

Additionally, when will the official release of Rhino 8 be?

As far as I know that will not be fixed for the initial release of V8. Note that youtrack items all have a projected target date (look in the right hand column), this one is still listed as “Future”.

There is no official release date for V8 yet.
