Variable density triangular mesh

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to create something similar to the attached image.

I tried creating a triangular grid then using lunchbox point attractor, however the result is messy at best.

You could use kangaroo and circle packing then Delaunay triangulation

Hi I’ve been playing around with meshmachine and getting some great results. However I can’t work out how to do the circle packing part, I’ve attached my file if you could point out where I’m going wrong that would be great.
