Validation Problem in Rhino6

Hi

My name is Solomon. I work with rhino since v3, I am a jewelry designer & modeler.

I worked with rhino 6 in my old PC now I bought a new one gave the old one the my

Children. I installed rhino 6 on the new PC & got validation failed because: the license key

I entered is used by another computer. I formatted both PCs, installed rhino v6 on my new PC

& I still get the same message validation failed because: the license key

I entered is used by another computer (The other PC has no rhino)

Please guide me on how the solve the problem.

Hi Solomon,

If you format a computer where Rhino 6 is installed, without uninstalling it first… the licence will still show as in use.

Please send an email with your licence key to our sales desk (sales@mcneel.com), we’ll help you on from there.

I formatted & Installed Rhino 6 on the new PC during the validation process got the message

(I get the same message every time I open Rhino).

Yep. Because it thinks your computer before formatting is another machine.

It can’t be… that’s why you need to contact sales as Rodrigo posted above.
(I think maybe if if you wait 10-14 days, it will automatically reset, but I guess you don’t want to wait that long…)
