VA | Wall from Solids with Layers

We are looking for a way to define wall-layers when making a wall from solids, where every solid could be assigned a wall-layer. If this is not possible yet, I would like to request it as a feature. It would solve so many current limitations regarding layer intersections and proper wall build ups. This should be extended to other building elements that allow construction from solids as well.

Hello Silvano,

You can do it using VisualARQ Grasshopper components. Anyway, I add your vote to this feature in order to have it also in Rhino.

Hi Alfonso,
It would be great to get for each wall’s layer additional geometry information like surface, volume, lenght, height as well. So the QTO via .ifc file it could be viable.
Is it possibile to quote for VA next version?
