VA openings can't be scaled in 1D

I like to scale VA doors and windows in 1,2d But the openings can only be scaled in 3D so it’s a Bug?

Hello @user992,

Which VisualARQ and Rhino versions are you using? It looks like it is working fine with the last VisualARQ version released (https://www.visualarq.com/download/update/). In the following days we will publish VisualARQ 2.12, where it is working fine as well.

2.11.3 version it only scale in 3D I can’t scale width only or height only!!

Hi @user992,

Currently, only openings that use a rectangular profile, or a profile from a curve, can be scaled in 1D. The reason is that the other profile, once scaled in 1D, is no longer valid. For example, a circular profile stretched vertically is no longer a circle.

I’ve added an entry in our bug tracker to fix this issue in a future VisualARQ version.

I would mention that the window style wizard is so ugly :no_mouth:, I hope to change it in a future releases

Well, this wizard was created 20 years ago. It wasn’t that ugly then… :joy:

For VisualARQ 3 we plan to update our UI. Wizards are probably the first dialogs that we need to modernize. Suggestions are welcome.
