V9 osnaps and another tab became floating how to dock at side?

Hi,
V9.
osnaps became detached from side panel, along with another tab.
when I tried to regain some screen space by moving the wider border back to 2 columns wide,
lost the one tab whatever it was, the osnaps are now a pesky floating box.
drag it left and get blue boxes pairs appear but it doesnt dock.
want the space as V8 at left, keep 1cm for my build area.

a reboot doesnt solve it.

Hi Steve -

When the blue boxes appear, you need to move the mouse cursor over one of these so that it expands. Then drop the container.

Ok, that ,works. Thanks.
There were two tabs in tha panel that floated free,

I lost one, what did it show etc ?

I had just the Osnaps remaining.

Hi Steve -

Since you had already modified the defaults, it’s not possible for me to tell. If it was still somewhat like the default, it would have been the Selection Filters.

Remember to use the WindowLayout command to save your custom layout so that you can easily restore it.

To get the out-of-the box layout of panels, use WindowLayout to save your custom layout and then restore the default one.
