making V9 as V5 and V7 and V8
V5 background HSV 0 0 225 RGB 225 225 225
try that in V9 and get black.
v wont go 225 makes RGB 56 56 56 dk grey.
never had that problem before.
for testing I need interface same.

Hi Steve,
In Rhino 5 and 6 the range for V was 0-255. Since Rhino 7 the range has been 0-100. When you type 255 in the V box, look closely and you will see that it gets truncated to 25, giving you the grey.
If you want to get RGB 225,225,225 then use the RGB sliders, not the HSV ones. The closest you will get with HSV is to set V to 88 which leaves you IIRC a point or two off the RGB values you want.
