V8 Mesh Panel - Text difficult to read

When values in the Options > Mesh panel are changed the color of the numerals switches to light blue. This color can be difficult to read.

Those don’t look like default colors to me.
See if Options > Appearance > Restore Defaults improves it.

Any luck?

It’s the new default. Looks like V8, (or at least 8.4) has a new feature which changes the colors of changed fields, presumably to let the user know what they have changed before clicking on “OK”.

Started new instance of Rhino.
Checked no plugins which did not ship with Rhino were installed.
Options > Appearance > Restore Defaults

Options > Mesh > Detailed Controls
Changed several values
Result is:

Hi @davidcockey. It’s a default color, its using one of Rhino’s highlight colors “ThemeSettings.Content.Highlight”, and I think we can make this use a different color which might be more appropriate. I’ve created a ticket to tweak this some more.

Visual Studio 2022 uses a much more obvious shade of blue for their default white background user option values.
