Sorted few days ago, came back again with the latest release.

V8 1. Area properties could not be solved on Box.

Without being able to examine the geometry, the images alone you posted are useless. If there was a different thread earlier, a link to it might help?

Probably these new/hidden settings:

Gh 8 file not opening in GH 7

I added two global settings (no UI) for disabling/enabling the highlight bar and the shiny edges on capsules. Once the next Rhino8 service release goes out those will become available. You’ll either have to change the settings xml file by hand while Rhino is not running, or use the script in the attached file to toggle those settings. CapsuleSettings.gh (12.0 KB) [settings]

Ja ja I keep forgetting that when you ask Rhino to check for updates it doesn’t actually do it. Wish this page would report update status properly and perform a check when it opens.

Anyway. Flat shading on your capsules?

Weird I’ve never seemed to get it working on V8. Thought maybe you were using something else. Doesn’t want to activate the plugin.

It works slightly different than V7 but it works, in general.
Maybe some other V8 user can have insight on this problem.
