V8 Bug: Cut text in text editor doesn't cut the text

I’ve just installed the current version of V8. It’s taken all of 3 minutes to come across a bug: Double-click text (that was created in V8). Select a portion of the text, right click > Cut.

It doesn’t Cut. The text stays selected and stays visible.

If I move the cursor to some point where I want to insert the text, right-click > Paste, it inserts a blank space of about the length of the text that I’ve just tried to Cut…

I noticed the same thing. Is this going to be solved?
