Copy / Paste in v8; Possible Bug

Version 8 SR2.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new document.
2. Create a “text” object (not a “text object”) and a line of text.
3. In the Properties panel, highlight, copy and then paste the text a couple times.

The appears to be there but is hidden in the Properties panel, yet the actual text object reflects the proper text after pasting. I can even highlight the pasted text in the properties panel and it appears to be there but it’s not visible. If you reselect the text object then the Properties panel reflects the text property correctly.

Seems like a bug to me.
