I’m editing multi-line text previously created in Rhino V8, some of which had been italicised. When I highlight this and deselect italic, the text in the edit window displays as “normal”. However, when I OK the command the text remains italicised. In short, there doesn’t seem to be a way to set the text back to normal.
I haven’t tried this with bold/normal, to see if that has the same problem. The font in question is Arial.
As an aside, using tab to space text in the text edit window displays as one would expect, but the resulting output on completing the edit doesn’t match the preview. Columns created with tab are not respected.

EDIT: Experimentation suggests that the problem may only exist when the whole first row is italicised.
Partial italics seem to be cancelled as you would expect if you highlight the italicised word and unclick the italic modifier. Similarly italics in other rows.
Thanks Jeremy. At least that provides a way to get rid of italics. FWIW, I’m having problems with the latter part of the second line of a body of text. I can highlight it and it identifies as italic, but cannot set it back to plain text. I’ll try your fix!
