I’ve been poking at this problem for a very long time and have come up with nothing so far. I would like to make a texture that shows up as 2D regardless of the 3D orientation of the view. It’s for style, and similar to the floor texture on each of these images you can see that it’s basically oriented to the screen
I’ve poked around with a planar uv mapping ‘following’ the camera but its got a lot of jitter. I think the answer might lay in the ‘environment’ mapping but I cannot get it right. Please help!
