Using clipping planes and point clouds (E57 file)

Hi

I’ve just got a point cloud I’m trying to extract key 2D geometry from by tracing over certain areas

I see there is a way of saving certain viewports in Rhino, but is there a way of saving the corresponding positions of the clipping planes? This would avoid having to resave the entire file each time I need to ‘clip’ the point cloud model to a new position to draw it.

Create a new clipping plane at each location and orientation. Enable the needed clipping plane when needed, then disable it.
