User Stream Lines

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to use the component “User stream lines” in Karamba 3D and I have some doubts.

  1. About the “Tangent vectors” input. How exactly does it work? I understand that I need to provide a vector for each point/node, but which coordinates do I need? The local ones? Is it ok if it’s a 2D vector?

  2. About the “Source” input (this applies to Karamba stream lines in general). How do I choose the correct points? I tend to have too much lines, even if I cull the list. Is there any suggestion?
