URGENT: Laggy and slow simple operations

Rhino 7 for Mac running slow... tips please

Rhino is running so slowly now and even small files are struggling to open quickly, can anyone offer any tips to speed things up? I even have files that don’t open any more. e.g. deleted out some materials on a 26MB file took 5 mins… I’m pulling my hair out. Is there a cache needs emptying? I’m not running any other programs. Thank you Running Rhino 7 (7.22) on Monterey 12.6, 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB & Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

@Zen Is this file specific? or does opening a brand new file have the same issue.
Can you go into preferences>OpenGL and toggle your GPU Tessellation?
