I’ve been an avid user since Rhino 7, but haven’t made anything for about 1.5 months. I thought I suddenly had a major problem where the Perspective view would lag unusably when rotating, if I had enabled 1 or more Floating Views. (I work with 3 floating views to utilize a 4-monitor-setup.)
However, my ‘problem’ was simply that one of the latest update(s) changed the ‘Gumball align to _____’ flag to ‘Perspective’ instead of ‘Object’. Having found this and reverted it, my problem is completely fixed. Just wanted to offer this up to others, since I’m fairly sure ‘Gumball Align to Object’ was the default in Rhino 7, and I’ve never even noticed that option being available to change. Now my gumball transforms are behaving exactly as expected, instead of skewing themselves seemingly randomly.
Thank you to everyone who puts in effort to make this software even better! I really enjoy using it.
