Uneven spacing of window panels between muntin bars

The placement of muntins on Window styles generates larger panels at the top and bottom of a window; whereas I think the expected and desired result are panels of the same size. This doubles the effort required to add detail to a model and fills to drawings, which should be able to be created in one panel and arrayed across the entire window. Because this would be the expected behaviour, and because the difference in panel size can be small, the current situation practically guarantees multiple inaccuracies which don’t immediately become apparent until too far down the road of a project. The first image below shows the inaccuracy in the case of 1/4" muntins, the second (which has to be maximized to show its full extent) shows the result of attempts to array with consistent spacing, which didn’t show up until VaSections were generated.

Hi Djhg, you are right, the panel size of doors and windows generated when adding muntins are not exactly the same size. I’ll let you know when we fix this.

Good news, we have just released VisualARQ 2.4.3 that fixes this issue with the uneven panel sizes when adding muntins to openings: VisualARQ 2 - Version 2.4.3 released

Thankyou.
