Unable to Lunchbox in trimmed surface. PLZ HELP!

Im trying to make my first fully grasshopper project but im having a problem when I have to take the trimmed surfaces to Lunchbox - Grid Structure or similar, as it takes the untrimmed surface.

I followed previous post but I still cant achieve what I want. Thanks everyone in advance!!

Re-Creating a trimmed surface for Lunchbox paneling

Hey guys, The end goal is to triangular panel this surface with grasshopper but I’m running into issues because it’s a trimmed surface. I’ve had a look at other posts with similar issues but they didn’t seem to help because my surface is shaped quite differently. I guess I’m looking for advice on either how to best re-create this surface so it’s no longer a trimmed surface (whether through GH or Rhino), or how I could input this differently into GH (keeping in mind the end goal is to panel) […

Trimmed surface and truss creation

Hello everyone, So I am having some troubles with creating a space truss. I am trying to use the lung box component by but I want to apply the component to generate a spacial truss. However, if I create the surface from the curves I want the squares overlap the surface limit like this: [image] If I understood it right my problem is with how the surface is composed: I made a random surface in Autocad and I can only turn it into a trimmed surface. See these threads. What you are dealing with is are trimmed surfaces. Trimmed surfaces are almost always evaluated by their untrimmed underlying Nurbs(4 point) surface, it is how Nurbs works. This isnt a Grasshopper knowledge issue, it is a Rhino knowledge issue. I had already seen all that and it stills does not solve my problem. First, my curves, planes and surfaces are non planar.
