Trouble with working on a network drive

Hi guys,

I keep running into issues working with files on a network drive. Let me first explain my setup:

Running Rhino 7 on Mac
Files hosted on a AFP network drive in the local network

This works perfectly with Rhino, create files, write/save them, no issues whatsoever. Now at the end of the day I close my laptop with Rhino still running, the file (from the network drive) still open in Rhino.
At home, I open my laptop, do non-work related stuff (ie. MacOSX realises the network drive is unavailable).
Next day I open my laptop at work, connect to the network drive and continue working in Rhino on the same file ( that was still open from yesterday).

At this point Rhino refuses to save, write or do anything at all with this file. I can’t even do a “save as” with a different filename. I don’t get any error message either.

Besides that, Rhino doesn’t want to close anymore, it wants to save the unsaved changes or revert the changes, but both options refuse to do anything. A forced quit is the only way.

Any idea how to “kickstart” Rhino or am I doing something wrong here?
