I am receiving a series of two prompts when I try to “Save” my file. The first says that the file is opened in “read only” mode (when I haven’t opened in that way. After I click ok, I am told the file has not been saved.
Any suggestions to fix? I should add, my Rhino 7 is completely up to date.

Are you saving to a network drive?
Please run the SystemInfo

My files are linked to Dropbox. But I’ve been doing both and running Rhino for years and this hasn’t been an issue before.

Do you see the saving problem when saving to a directory that is not linked to dropbox?

I’ve been working on the same file but saving to desktop for the past few hours and haven’t had the same problem. Hope this helps with diagnosis. I don’t want to have to keep working in this way though (all my files are run through dropbox), so would appreciate a solution to this if you can help - that would be much appreciated.

I don’t want you to have to work this way either. Just trying to diagnose where the problem is. I made some changes to SR5 that may make a difference. Please try the SR5 release candidate and let me know if this fixes the issues you are seeing.
Service Releases fix bugs, improve stability, and add SDK features for programmers. We will release Service Release Candidates frequently so you can give feedback. You must have a valid license for Rhino in order to get Service Release Candidate builds. BETA releases will not update to release candidates.
