Had the recent delight to catch up with Pascal over lunch here in Seattle last week.
Tried my hardest to convince him to give up on all this retirement nonsense to no avail.
He lifts a well pulled espresso to you all and wishes you a fine day-

slightly smug..as if to say “we both know who’s smarter here”

I’m very proud to have come up under his tutelage.
Sometimes I wonder if he lurks around Discourse, moking our futile attempts of scripting at least half as good as he did. 
I like to think so… 
I do see JB pop up from time to time, and that always warms my heart a bit as he was another massive influence on my career even before I worked here.
Does he have any projects in the works maybe?
From what I’ve seen people like that rarely stop because of retirement I’ve seen old folks creating successful business just for the fun of it.
Looking back historically he seems exceptionally good at what he does, i never interacted with him but i get the impression he is very well respected here.
very well respected is a dramatic understatement.
he’s a super talented designer and ceramic artist and has a very well appointed home studio where he’s cranking out tons of lovely stuff.
Not only do I have enormous respect for him as a designer and Rhino guru but my envy of his retirement keeps me going until I can reach that moment myself. Much love to you Pascal , we miss you terribly.
