I am trying render something in Vray 6. Whenever I open the saved render in photoshop, the grey Vray environment background is still present. How can I render on a TRANSPARENT background?
What file type are you saving?
It’s a PNG. I don’t think there are other options
That should work with a color set as a transparent background.
You’ll need help from a Vray user.

Try if clearing the environment texture in the vray options does what you want
Strange, actually the background is always transparent when you save as PNG, which can be quite annoying. Unless you use a dome light. But then you can deactivate alpha in the dome light option.
