Translation of object to set of vectors

Hi there.

I am trying to create a 3d printed zeotrope with quite a tight timeline and am having trouble getting my head around translation.

I have a set of vectors that I want to translate my geometry onto (and ideally scale to the varying sizes of the vectors also)

The radial lines from the origin are the lines I want the geometry aligned to. They become somewhat longer as they spiral outwards.

there are a few extra parts to the grasshopper file that are producing other forms too that will be used later to chop the shape into a set that.

I am sorry if this does not make sense as it is late here. I will check in the morning to see if I can help it more approachable.

regards, Nick.

awesome thanks. I will have a play with this.

Your crystal unit mesh is not closed at the bottom, so it’s not possible to create a closed mesh.
Also, merging all meshes together(Mesh Union) is almost likely a failure in Rhino.
The alternative is to convert your final meshes to poly-surfaces and then try a solid union operation in rhino one by one or with a small portions. There is no guarantee that this will be successful.

Thanks I will have a go working through this advice.

So grateful for your support in getting started in this.
