Tile scaling

Hi all. Upgraded to nxt 5 a few days ago and am putting materials on surfaces for rendering, and can’t seem to get the procedural tiling to work correctly, one tile fills the entire surface regardless of units, as in meters, feet, inches, doesn’t matter. Within the material editor, also changing sizes of base or joint makes no difference. It also doesn’t matter if I bring it in from nxt 3 or make it from scratch in 5. Anyone else run into this? of course I upgraded in the middle of a project. Help!! ha!

Tile size in this case is controlled by Rhino texture mapping coordinates. On the object itself, if you set mapping coordinates and XYZ tile size to 2, then you get 2" tiles size. In this case I used the Box mapping.
