Looking at the attached screen-grab and Rhino file, you can see a NURBS polysurface on the left (column) and a Mesh object on the right (table and chair). The NURBS object has nice crisp black lines clearly defining the edges - but the Mesh object doesn’t. Is there any way to make the Mesh object look more similar to the NURBS? Hi Cosmas - no… the disaplay mode shows surface edges, the only similar setting for meshes is to show mesh wires, which would show all of the mesh edges.
I have a feeling that this is an impossible task, right, Pascal? Otherwise it would already be available. I tried MeshOutline but it disappears if you move the camera.
Hi Cosmas - you’d need to go into the block and split up the meshes at the locations where you want the lines, I suppose, and then DupBorder to get a polyline in place.
