"The projection missed the selected objects"?

Hello! I’m trying to project curves (a TextObject) onto some geometry but I keep getting the error “The projection missed the selected objects”. I’ve moved things/rotated them quite a bit but nothing seems to be working. The usual feedback about his error seems to be to execute the command in an ortho view instead of in Perspective, but I have tried the command in both Top and Front view and neither works. What should I do? Thanks!

Hi ,Your Cplane is not in the right orientation. If you put it in front orientation , it will project the words onto the egg. I am guessing that is not what you want. I think it is flow along surface is what you need. You might need to look into some reading of how it works or some videos on the subject. — Mark

Hello - as Mark points out, FlowAlongSrf is more likely to get you what it looks like you want here. I’ve attached an example.
