The file writing plug-in failed

I need to export to OBJ for a client - can you suggest anything?
The OBJ export plugin is enabled
I tried it with a simple cube and that succeeded but that doesn’t help me - the client needs the file, not just a cube
Thanks for any help you can offer

Hello - I guess it would be best if you can post here or send us via tech@mcneel.com an example file that falis - the simpler the better. Please include a link back here in your comments, and also Copy/paste the results of the SystemInfo command in Rhino.

-Pascal

I sent the file to tech@mcneel
I exported as geometry only and that worked but it makes it more difficult for my client because all geometry is now on one layer, default.
Interesting to note, the Rhino file that is created using geometry only is just under 10,000 kb but exporting as OBJ results in a 61,000 kb file

Yeah, obj is a text format and not terribly efficient in terms of file size. It also exports, optionally, more or less information -

To anyone else reading this thread - I disabled the Thea plugin as per Pascal’s suggestion and I was able to export as OBJ with no problem. I re-enabled the plugin and all is fine.
Thanks Pascal
