There’s a fix in the works for this. In the meantime, if you set the export to binary then it won’t bail out early on you.

I tried a Binary type and it looks like a work solution … But the CloudCompare doesn’t open them
There’s a good chance the fix will be in the release candidate (RC) available today. If it doesn’t make today it will for certain be in the RC on next Tuesday.
