I’m using Elefront to generate and bake Text Dots.
The Elefront component allows setting a text size for the dots, which works in the viewport.
It is nice to be able to create text dots in different sizes. Much easier also visually on layouts with all kinds of information and dimensions.
Unfortunately, when printing to PDF, there is only one text size possible for all dots. I’m not sure whether it makes sense to have this setting in the print menu at all. Or maybe a choice to have auto text size driven by what’s in the viewport / layout?
That does make sense because on a larger paper size, you will probably want to have larger dots.
But, yes, since Rhino allows you to have dots in different sizes, it makes sense that this would be reflected on a print as well. Request filed as RH-47981.
Hi. How’s going with this request because my text dots are too small when printing. They look OK on screen but when i do want to print them are too small even if I increase the size of the text looks like it is no difference. Have somebody a fix for this issue?
