Surfaces look bad :(

Hi all. I’m currently creating a flange on a mould that has to be a certain profile, therefor I have created a sketch and used sweep1 around the edge of the mould.

The wireframes of the surfaces look fine, but the resultant shaded / rendered surfaces are coming out pretty tough looking…



Run DivideAlongCreases > SplitAtTangents=Yes on those objects.

So Have you solved the problem?

There is “officially” no problem… the surfaces have internal G1 joints - probably from extruding joined arcs and lines - and Rhino has been bad at meshing those since… forever. The above macro makes polysurfaces out of those by splitting them at the internal G1 tangent joints. Then the mesher works better.
