Sub object selection is slow

Hi,
since I have updated to rhino 6 sub object selection is very slow.
When ctrl+shift selected everything freeezes for a while, can be close to minutes.
It appears in files that are larger in size. Both groups, and single objects.
Have tried different machines and different files with same problem.

Anyone else have this issue?

Run the Rhino command SystemInfo and post the results here.

Noteworthy is, If I lock everything in the scene but the object which I wish to subselect from, the problem dissapears. Lock command, not lock layer.

Wow, hardware specs checks out for sure. Definitely a s/w issue then. I might have to see if it does the same on mine.

Dunno, made 100,000 boxes here, subsurface selection of one face of one box takes about a half second for it to light up…

Thats weird, opening a new file and arraying 100000 boxes in one direction, shaded mode, and then selecting one surface takes about 20 s to light up here.

Start Rhino in Safe Mode and try aggain. Maybe some of the plugins are to blame - Vray specificaly?

Oh, yeah, didn’t think about that, there have been quite a few reports here of slowdowns due to V-Ray.

uninstalled vray, nothing changes.
Slow procedure in general to test on large number of arrayed boxes in safemode, but thats is expected with open gl disabled, right?.

I updated the lastest update today, i totally regreted, for some reason just renaming my layers it lagged for 10 secs frozen couldnt move anything or do anything… ><

Anything have issues after latest update patch ???
