Is there a way to scale 1D objects and keep non-orthogonal surfaces like they are? Attached an example of a wall build up under a pitched roof where the thickness of the build-up layers need to be changed. If I do it with scale 1D the inclination of the facade meeting the roof changes.
Here the example where I need to change the thickness of the buildup. Now my workflow is: scale 1D, then stretch everything along Z-axis and do a new cutplane with the roof angle to split all solids that have been transformed because of the thickness change…
This all works very well with orthogonal objects. My question relates to the issue with the pitched roof - in Autocad I would try to use a constraint. Attached the example with -movesurface and -pushpull.
