Strange control points on my extruded surface

after I extrude a curve to a surface, i get some wired looking control point results.
it´s a curve 2 degree (3pt arc) and I extrude it by clicken the ctrl key + gumball.
even when I use the regular extrude commande the result of the control pt´s should be a differnt one.
after rebuilding the surface with more pt´s I still get the same result.
someone any idea?

Hi Horst- Rhino makes “extrusion objects” by default - see

for more info. You can Explode or ConvertExtrusion to see ‘normal’ surface points.
