Was wondering where the Panel Tool for distributing points on a surface is? In V4 i used to go >create paneling grid >surface domain. Are there any plans to making the Paneling Tools a drop down menu like the Windows version, it would be great?

Preferences > Tool palette > Display additional commands. Swap left click and control-left click with the blue cube icons.
You still need the main palette though.

There is no menu available, yet typing the commandname (starting with pt) will work.
