Standard Keyboard Shortcuts Stopped Working

Hello,

I just noticed that all the standard keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + Z, Ctrl + N, Ctrl + S etc.) appear to have stopped working on my Rhino 5 64 bit install:

Version 5 SR11 64-bit
(5.11.50226.17195, 02/26/2015)

They still work on the Rhino 5 32 bit and Rhino 6 WIP versions:

Version 5 SR11 32-bit
(5.11.50226.17195, 02/26/2015)

Work In Progress
(6.0.15160.8491, 09-06-2015)

Any ideas of what might cause this behaviour and how to fix it?

Best and thanks,

Anders

Hi
I have another user reporting the same thing after a series of major updates including Windows, Microsoft applications, and SolidWorks.
Does this description fit with your situation too?

Weird. Can you please check if the keyboard shortcuts are defined in Tools->Options->Keyboard? If they are not, please click Restore Defaults to get them back.

Does that help?

This happened to me the other day, the cause was a hanging Ctrl key. Try other programs to see if Ctrl-based shortcuts work there or not. If the Ctrl key is borken, get a new keyboard…

I did recently install Visual Studio Community (which came with a bunch of Windows updates), Sofistik (plus its Rhino plugin) and several of the Evolute plugins. I wonder if either of those could have caused it.

They were defined, but I tried Restoring Defaults anyway and that seemed to do the trick! Excellent, thanks.
