right after publishing this post [Clear all referenced objects], I realized another thing.
why Split Beam does not have “bake to tekla” option?
I have a series of columns (representing wall panels), that i need to split where there is a window (being panels in tekla).
I have hundreds of this per wall so I use GH
I make the data tree and for every column I split it in the intersection points between the axis of the column and the boundary of the panel
in the screenshots you can see the output, I keep first and third beam and i delete the second one.
but since Split beam doesnt have a “bake to tekla” option, the moment i rerun the script on new data, the splits disappear and my columns are back to full extension.
even if i clear the input befor rerunning, I can’t maintain the nwe splitted columns
Why?
