Clear all referenced objects

Hello everybody,
I’d like to know if there’s a way to do a specific thing. if not, it would be a suggestion for a new toolbar function.

Alongside “disable objects creating components”, I think a command like “clear all reference objects” could be useful.

Sometimes in certain workflows (for example with split beam), if the inputs come from more than one Tekla component, when I want to re-run the script with new inputs I have to be careful and lock everything, update the inputs and then re-run, otherwise I risk making a mess because a new input interacts with the old one and everything goes wrong.
another example would be when using the “modify” components, when switching to the next run of a modifying

So the flow would be: I run my script with my inputs, then I bake everything, then I clear everything and put in new inputs without worrying.

Hi Fabio,

This is a good idea, I’ll try to get it into the next release.

Meanwhile this is something that could be safely achieved with the Run/Bake option in the latest Grasshopper Component version.

So it runs the definition once, asking for inputs baking the objects, and then they stay put when you hit run the next time. No plugin instances are created.
