Some pbm problem


got some weird things going on while trying to upload materials from a physically based materials file… well look at this glitch do any one can help me? ?? thank you in advance

that appears to be the displacement channel glitch. Rhino does not handle material level displacement very well… it tends to tear up the surface.

disable it and use bump instead or use the surface displacement instead which is in the object properties when you click a surface

pro tip, you can use the texture from the displacement channel of your pbr to displace in the object properties.

Note that the Rhino 9 WIP now handles PBR displacement well and won’t break the mesh at polysrf surface seams. The displacement properties for the object, e.g. ‘initial quality’ setting for the mesh now also affect the PBR disp.
