hi @kitjmv I believe this is RH-76803 Detaching toolbars modifies its size + size is not stored after modifying.
Hello @Gijs
sorry for my late reply, but I haven’t used Rhino 8 for real work yet.
Yesterday I configured the Rhino 8 toolbars to return to the working habits I have on Rhino 7.
My brain works in lines, so I size the containers so that all the buttons are on a single line.
This morning when Rhino opened, almost all containers were reset.
Apparently their logic is to try to have the squarest dimensions possible.
I haven’t found the exact logic to reproduce the behavior, because sometimes when you close and reopen Rhino, the containers are the size you gave them, and sometimes they are not.
In this video you can see that the first 2 submenus have kept their dimensions but all the others have been reset.

hi @kitjmv
can you run _SystemInfo and post back the results?
There has been a fix for toolbar sizes in 8.11 RH-78956 Modified torn off toolbar shape and size
And for popup there is RH-73095, which is fixed for Windows only for now.
Hello @Gijs
