Shift + Alt view rotate angle snap

I just noticed on SR13 that SHIFT+ALT for tilting a view–which I do pretty rarely–now snaps in 5 degree increments? Is it supposed to do that all the time? Where can I set the angle?

Hi Jim,

I believe the 5 degree snap is only when the mouse cursor is on the “outskirts” of a viewport. When more towards the center it will tilt smoothly.

On my phone so this is from memory.

Hi Jim - what Willem said, for using dynamic tilting; to set a specific angle you need the TiltView command. + numbers = counterclockwise, in degrees.
