Hi, V5
as I go from front view to back view, the raster that I had placed behind my object is then denying vision of it.
I then think of SendToBack so that as I switch views it doesnt hide my complex build, however it doesnt work.
Does SendToBack not work with PictureFrame surfaces ?
I have to keep going top and moving it back and forth…very annoying.
Hi Pascal,
in this project I have about 100 rasters, all PictureFrame, since V4 I have probably made a few thousand PictureFrame rasters, I place them on layers named with the file name, scale them to size, sometimes after 2D scale they need a 1D and sometimes give them layer colour and group to them the dims I have scaled them to and other curves drawn over the surface. I rotate them and sometimes place them mid way through an object or even in front.
I am perhaps a bit of a specialist in the use of PictureFrame, moving them about and rotating scaling and so on.
I have a feeling Background Bitmap sees an image always in the background, in ‘dumb mode’ but can I do all of the above to it. I seem to remember all this when starting out in V4 and for a moment back then getting very scared that this was the only way to work on an image, and that all was ‘game over’, then I was told about PictureFrame, and all was wonderful again.
