The selection window on my rhino 7 somehow changed to a solid blue box instead of just a transparent line. Since it is not transparent I am unable to fully see what I am trying to select
What can I do to fix that?
Hello - in Options > Advanced, filter for 'SelectionWindow, and modify the color there, making sure to add transparency

This is happening to me, but only in a floating viewport. The SelectionWindow options in Options are set to have transparency.
