I have a customized color scheme on Rhino. Just moved on to Rhino 6. (cur.SR8)
The selection window for group selection in the viewport has this gray color, so when I have dark viewport backgrounds, I can’t see the dashed lines when making a group selection.
It’s strange, cos previously I’ve been using this dark UI but never noticed this. As you can see in the pictures below, the selection lines are barely visible.
Is there a way to change the color of the selection window line?
There is no setting in Rhino to control the color of the crossing selection rectangle.
FWIW, note that this rectangle isn’t painted in one single color. The color adapts slightly to the color that is underneath. In your set-up, that mechanism is having problems with the colors of the grid. If you make those having less contrast with the background, it will probably be easier to see the crossing selection rectangle.
Thanks for the response.
I figured out that there probably isn’t a way to change the selection line in since I’ve tried almost everything. I just don’t understand why this wasn’t a problem in Rhino 5?!
Maybe something was different. Now I don’t have a way to check that.
I’d just like to note, maybe someday, it would be nice if we can change that too.
I just settled with working with a darker viewport background.
